I’m joining the public BC Base App contribution pilot!

Home 9 Development 9 AL Language 9 I’m joining the public BC Base App contribution pilot!

Long-planned change is almost there! Almost two years ago, Microsoft revealed a new plan to allow industry experts to contribute not only to the system apps but also to the base app. And it’s almost there!

Right now, the repository is available only for pilot members (check BC TechDays 2022 – Collaborating on Business Central’s open-source platform – YouTube to see how to be part of the pilot program) but later this year, it will be available for anyone.

I’m really glad I could be a part of 35 people around the world who are currently in this pilot program. I’ll definitely publish next month a few more words about this program and what will be (or won’t be) available for programmers to change.
