DynamicsCon VIRTUAL is an annual conference that brings together the Dynamics 365 community to share knowledge and best practices. The conference is set to take place 15th of March and is a must-attend event for anyone who wants to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Dynamics 365 and learn from industry experts.

Sessions?

There will be, once again, many great sessions, and, as usual, the final list of sessions will be chosen based on our (community) votes. The voting starts on 16.01.2023!

See the list of all sessions here: Submissions – DynamicsCon

My Sessions?

I have also two submissions for all AL Language developers. And if you like any of my topics, I’ll be really excited if it gets your vote.

Topic: 5 THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW HOW TO EXTEND PROPERLY

More than 16 500 (sixteen thousand!!!) event publishers and more than 350 extensible enums are available in Business Central v21. It’s a huge number in comparison to Business Central a few years ago.

Many of these events and enums are easy to extend as they are just single events or enums without any implementation. However!

Many enums implement a specific interface. These enums could be really tough to extend as you need to know how to implement the interface properly.

In this session, we will look at 5 different enums you should know how to implement. Divide & Conquer!

Topic: PRICE CALCULATION POWER HOUR: TIPS AND TRICKS

Join me for an in-depth look at customizing price calculations in Dynamics 365 Business Central using the AL language. From basic changes such as hierarchical pricing to advanced ones like supporting custom entities, you’ll learn everything you need to know to take your price modules to the next level.

Discover the power of events for implementing complex calculation logic. With these advanced tips & tricks at your fingertips, you’ll be ready to customize prices like a pro.
